Awesome Lottie is a hosted service you use through your browser. A subscription gives the account it is attached to the right to use the service at the plan you bought — which removes the watermark from your exports and sets how many projects you may keep and how much storage they may use — for as long as the subscription remains active. This is a right to use the service, not a transfer of ownership of it.
Without a subscription you may still use the free plan, at the limits published on our pricing page.
You need an account to use the service, and you are responsible for what happens under it — keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access. An account is for one person; if you need several people to have access, that is what a Team plan is for.
Give us an email address you can actually receive mail at. Password resets, subscription receipts and security notices go there, and some of them have no other route to you.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or through the customer-portal link on your Lemon Squeezy receipt; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, the account returns to the free plan — new exports carry the Awesome Lottie watermark again, and the rest of the app, along with every project and file you have already created, continues to work. Files you exported while subscribed are yours and are unaffected.
If an account ends up above the free plan's limits this way, we will not delete anything to bring it back under them.
A Team subscription entitles the members of one team, up to the number of seats bought. Seats are counted as members plus outstanding invitations. The person who buys the subscription is responsible for paying for it and for who they invite.
If a team has more members than seats — after a cancellation, a failed payment, or a reduction in seats — we do not remove anyone. The team simply cannot add members until it is within its seat count again.
You agree not to:
You own the SVG artwork, animations, and exported files you create with Awesome Lottie. We claim no rights over your project content.
Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, subject to their standard refund window. Contact us first at the address on our Contact page if you run into an issue — most problems can be resolved without a refund.
The app is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or fit for every use case. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties beyond what's required by that law.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to Awesome Lottie is limited to the amount you paid us for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may update the app and these terms over time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
We may suspend or close an account if these terms are violated — for example, sharing credentials so people outside your plan can use it, or working around the limits your plan sets. You can close your own account at any time from your account settings; doing so deletes your projects permanently, so cancel any active subscription and export anything you want to keep first.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in, and it does not stop you bringing a claim in your local courts.
Questions about these terms can go to the address listed on our Contact page.
