Logos, characters, scenes, loaders, the little moments in an app.
Connect the AI assistant you already use, say what should move in
plain words, and watch it draw and animate real, editable shapes in
the editor. Then export Lottie JSON, a packaged .lottie,
or an MP4.
Runs on your own AI subscription, so there's nothing extra to pay here. Included on every plan, Free too.
Every example below is a Lottie file made in Awesome Lottie, playing live in your browser. It is not a video: it is layers and poses you could open and keep editing. Under each is a prompt to start from.
A still illustration that breathes: a glowing lamp, a glittering sea, a shooting star.
“Draw a lighthouse on a cliff at dusk, with a glowing lamp.”
Pose a character and the editor eases between the poses.
“Make the owl hop on the spot and flap its wings.”
Bring a brand mark to life, from an SVG or a traced PNG.
“Roll the waves in, then pop the letters in one after another.”
Success ticks, confetti and the small touches that make an app feel finished.
“Pop the tick in, then burst the confetti.”
Icons, titles, a product shot, a birthday card. If you can describe it, your AI can start it, and you can finish it by hand.

Awesome Lottie connects to AI assistants as a connector (MCP), the way Claude and other AI apps add tools. Your assistant gets the editor's own tools (trace, draw, recolour, animate) and uses them on the project you have open.
In the editor, click Connect your AI and copy the connector URL. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, or in another AI app that supports connectors, sign in once, and choose Allow.
Open a project in the editor, with artwork or empty, then just say what you want. The lighthouse at the top started like this:
Each change lands in your open editor as it's made, and each is one
step you can undo. Not quite right? Ask again, or fine-tune any pose
by hand. Then export Lottie JSON, .lottie, MP4 or a
still frame.
Everything your AI does, you can do by hand, and fine-tune what it made. Set how a layer looks at a few moments; Awesome Lottie eases between them. Prefer raw keyframes? Switch any layer to the timeline.
Import SVG from Illustrator or Figma with its layers intact, open an existing Lottie, or draw with the pen and shape tools.
A pose pins only what you changed, so position, rotation and colour each glide on their own.
The canvas plays the same motion that goes into the file, in the same colour space.
Lottie JSON, .lottie, MP4, or a PNG, JPEG or WebP still, on every plan. Projects live in your account, on any machine.
Every plan is billed monthly or yearly — and a yearly plan is ten months' price for twelve months' use. Cancel any time; you keep access until the period you've paid for ends.
